TOP5 Michael Jackson songs

Because he has passed away today. And I don't know him, I don't know his music, I only know the most famous songs he had, I'm not a fan and I don't have one single song by him but according to what I know about him, I think he is really a king of pop and he created something that's ruined by these "made stars", the so-called pop musicians (I won't mention names) for now, so... rest in piece, Jacko, you ROCKED THE WORLD!!!!

And here's my 5 favourite songs by him, starting from the fifth.

5. Thriller
That's the freakin' basic song from him... Amazing... and the dance. *-* I wish I could dance like that :)

4. Bad
  Who's bad? You're bad, Jacko ;)

3. Black or white
  Everyone should live that way...

2. They don't care about us
I heard this song for the first time today. And I already have it in my heart. Amazing and both of the music videos are very moving.

1. Billy Jean
  NQA. :)

Top5 songs that make me happy

1. Sara Bareilles - Love Song
  - That's official for now... it beated the next one. I thought that's gonna be the winner, but Sara... she beats everyone. :)

2. Better than Ezra - Lifetime
  - This song is AMAZING!!! Everything is so alright about it. :) I love it. I love it for mentioning REM :D I love the music video, I love the guy in it (man, he's kinda hot :O)

3. Shiina Ringa - Dynamite
  - I downloaded it from a YouTube video about 30 Seconds to Mars and this song is crazy!!! It's got that dixie style and the girl who's singing it has a wicked voice ! :D Amazing :D

4. Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby
  - That's one funny song. I don't know what it's about, but funny. And the guy is always singing like he was smiling. :D Cool :D

5. Demi Lovato - La La Land
  - It's a shame, I know, but this girl knows something. Cool song, cool lyrics, nice melodies, it makes my day.

Yesterday, I was wathcing VH1 New (the Europian) and Battlefield was broadcasted by Jordin Sparks. Ryan is EVERYWHERE!!! I mean, it's like... every song was written by him :D And I said: Man, Say (All I need) is a new music video) but they didn't broadcast it. :(

I was this for today.. Be good.

Quickpress about the language exam

1. Speaking - It was AMAZING!! I spoke fluently, the teachers smiled a lot at my jokes, it wasn't fake, I was natural, Detti was also cool, I told the examining body what I promised to Kayla, and we had one minute extra chatting when they asked if I've ever been to the states, if not, how did I get to know Kayla, how we keep the contact, have we ever spoken through mobile phone and so on. It was amazing, I'd do it again.

2. Reading- Fail. Or I don't know. Maybe it's not totally fail because I think the first part, I did it without a mistake but the second one where we had to understand the interview and answer with whole sentences to the CONFUSING questions, I surely made a few mistakes.

3. Writing - Dull. 75 minutes were given to write two essays (in 200 words!!!) and Tia (that's me) was done after 20 minutes? I checked my essays a billion times but time didn't want to move. -.-" :D

4. Listening - It's the most horrible experience I've ever had. -.-" The guys who were speaking were more like... moaning or I don't know what, and the teachers were always coughing and blowing their noses but it wasn't just the "natural background nose" as my sister called them, we couldn't hear the radio! And the second part was far more terrible, after the first time we listened to it, I had no questions answered so I had to make up something by myself because I couldn't understand anything.

So if I fail at reading and listening, I have to repeat the four parts again. It would be a shame cause I can speak/write/read/understand in English. Just...

Ahh, I couldn't find anything but some pisspoor excuses.

 ...

It sucked.

Comments, questions in connection with the 2008/2009 school year?

I've got one.

  Screw you!

It's strange

how you don't miss things until you experience them. And from that moment you can never let them go. This something I'm talking about is a human called Ryan Tedder.

No. Wait. He's not even a human. He's an alien from Pluto and he's here to humiliate humanity.

Top5 "gottalearn" songs

Sooo... since I've never learnt how to play on piano, I'm not so good at that. I learnt how to play on the keyboard and those who knows how to play on the piano and the keyboard too, they know the difference. I'm not even trying to explain it. Sooooo everything I know about playing on a piano it's learnt on my own. But there are still songs I'd like to learn on piano... but haven't menaged.
The guy I'm measuring myself to is called "Microrator" on YouTube. He's coverin a fair amount of The Fray songs and I gotta tell you that he's awesome and no one can ever live up to him *-* Soooo... here are The Fray songs I'd like to learn on piano. Perfectly.

  1. Little House
- Imho, this is the most amazing, complex song of The Fray. I don't know why they don't play it on shows more rarely, I've got ONE live versions of the song but the piano is still amazing. Check "Microrator"s Little house, I got it on my music player and my dream is that one day I'll be able to play it like this guy.

  2. Syndicate
- Okay, I know the MOST SIMPLE basic of the song, I know the notes, so freakin' amazing that I can hardly decide what to say. But it's still very... LAME!!! If I could only know what kind of magic dust Isaac is using while playing, I could come by... *-* Whatever. Syndicate is still AWESOME!

  3. Where the story ends
- I can play the intro. But who can't? I think this song has the most catchy melody and this is why it inspirated me to write the end of my novel. Where the story ends is a very good song and the notes in it are very... simple. But I can't figure them out. NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME!!

  4. She is
- You know I have that music sheet book involving all the songs from How to save a life. Well that book is one nice piece of shit. I mean. It only has the vocals and the guitar. And the piano in the intros but I guess, we can admit that The Fray songs' intros are quite simple to hear and play. Sooooo, that's bullshit. And I want this song. In my hands.

  5. I gotta choose wisely. Well... let it be... Over my head
- Kinda weird, that How to save a life is not included. I don't wanna butcher that song with my... noobism (is it a word? Well.. it is now.. :D) Sooo... I can also play Over my head on piano (keyboard) buuut it's not that professional as Isaac's version. Sooo.. this is what we got.

BUT! Here's a band called. *dammicantrememberheirname* Joking, their name is OneRepublic. With very nice songs based on the piano, so here's the top5 list of 1R songs, I gotta learn on piano :)

  1. Tyrant
  - For those who didn't think I'll put this song to the first place: Hang yourself up to something. Something high. Sooo... If you haven't seen any Tyrant live performances than check one because Ryan is... so... amazing!!! He's like... making my dreams come true... amazing piano playing... *-* Blessed hands.

  2. All we are
  - All we are was the first song I fell in love with by OneRepublic. I don't even know how to begin to play that song. It's so... complex. If I say: difficult, you'll laugh at me, right?

  3. Dreaming out loud
  - Man... it's one weird song, I can tell you that.

  4. Come home
  - I started to learn it but you know what? I'll never be able to play it by heart. Cause I just cannot play on the piano.

  5. Since my prev sentence, it doesn't make sense to mention one last song I'd like to learn, but I will, so here's my choice. On my way here
  - AMAZING SONG!!!! Ryan's voice is so much more young... but still amazing and the lyrics is... *-* I'd like to see him performing this. It must be touching *-*

This being the case, I got sleepy enough to get the hell out of here.

I'd like to...

tell Ryan Tedder, that everytime I play one of his songs I can see him, breaking my heart into tiny little pieces.

Definitely

http://www.d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y.com/

Good to know. I'm not the type of girl who has spelling mistakes. I mean, if I have any, it's not because I don't know how to spell a word, it's because I didn't pay attention when I wrote that down. In previous posts, there are some mistakes, when I wrote "here" instead of "hear". I'm not stupid but... yes... Definitely is a definitely hard word.

Awesome. I will never forget the correct spelling of definitely... after I stared at that damn site for twenty minutes to memorize the right way. >.<

Dammit!

"Let the flames begin" is also a song that ROCKS!!!!
Maybe, my relationship with Paramore needs more time to burst into flower. Maybe it's just started to burgeon... Dammit.

Top5 Women/Women-fronted bands

Soooooo we already talked about guys (who else?) and I mentioned a few chicks buuut my true loves (I mean.. favourites :D) weren't mentioned. Gosh. Soooo here are the girls I love very much and just couldn't stop listening.

1. Emilie Autumn
Have you ever listened to Dead is the new alive? If not, listen! Now! It's awesome! With the electric violin in the middle-end. :O And her voice. :O I don't know how she figured out she was gonna be a singer but she did and she made the last days in the hospital so much better. :)
Emilie is kissing girls on her concerts, btw. :D

2. Monrose
Three girls... (one of them looks like a horse) from Germany. I HATE GERMANY!!! I HATE GERMAN PEOPLE!!! Gahh. But they are... they don't sing about life or wars, they sing about love and parties. Why Tia (that's me) loves them?
Good question, my dearest friend, good question.
And I cannot really answer. NEXT ONE!!!

3. Shakira
It can be awkward from a girl who listens to Three Days Grace that she also loves Shakira, but this is a fact: SHAKIRA IS AWESOME!!!

4. Holly Brook
Like an angel. Really. It's a shame that she didn't release more, just one album. I'm sure she has a lot of beautiful things inside (right next to the kidneys and somewhere between the guts)

5. The Veronicas
After a deeeep-deeep consideration I decided that I love The Veronicas more than Aly&Aj. Lisa and Jess have a higher and stronger voice than Aly&AJ do. So the emotions can get across easier. :)

This is my TOP5 women list.
Sorry for those I missed to mention, but admit, I'm a girl... prefer to listen to men. :D

Think about...

...the first five songs that crosses your mind and were written by Ryan Tedder. (Battlefield doesn't count, you'll see why)

1. Beyoncé - Halo
2. James Morrison - Please don't stop the rain
3. Jennifer Lopez - Do it well
4. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
5. Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone

Any of them would sound just WICKED if Ryan sang them!!
(besides, I'd listen to Ryan singing Already Gone by Crossfade... It would be just... WONDERFUL!!! Mainly in the end. Angry Ryan. OMG *-*)

Top5 embarrassing comparison

You know, there are bands and singers who just SHOULDN’T BE COMPARED TO ANYONE!!! I mean, I talk about my favourite bands because I hate when they say that they copied their style and SO ON!!! So here are the five most embarrassing comparison I’ve ever heard.

1. The Fray – Coldplay

It’s totally okay, that The Fray was influenced by Colplay. A lot!!! But... Coldplay is a kinda floating music with emotional guitar and interesting, exciting drums and a very... original singing by Chris Martin. Their lyrics is a bit undescribable and every song of them is very... clearing... soul-clearing...
The Fray-songs are built on piano, every song can be recognized by their piano basic. Isaac’s voice is totally different from Chris’s aaaaaaand the melodies, the mood is just more simple, guitar is not an important part of the songs (if so, then the whole song is very different from the band’s style)

I hope you got my point.

2. OneRepublic – U2

Maaaan, have you ever heard a OneRepublic song? And a U2??? If so, don’t you dare to compare them!! 1R and Coldplay have a lot more in common then 1R and U2. -.-’’ OneRepublic is alternative, progressive piano-pop-rock. I know it sounds a bit complex, but this five words describe them, I think. U2 is progressive rock. :S That’s all! The next person that starts to compare... I’m gonna start throwing punches at him!!!

3. Snow Patrol – Waking Ashland

Let’s mention something. I don’t love Waking Ashland and I think they are a truly awful band. I’ve heard six songs of them but I think more people judge bands with less proof. -.-’’ And this is the point where I say that Waking Ashland is more like... Augustana. But Snow Patrol? Naah... SP-songs base on a very strange guitar.

4. Aly&AJ – The Veronicas

The Veronicas are electro-pop-rock, dammit! Aly&AJ plays pop!! If I haven’t heard it from a friend, I would’ve never thought about comparing these two bands.

Oh, sorry. It’s because there are two girls in both of them? Hopeless people... -.-’’

And finally, the most RIDICULOUS COMPARISON EVER!!! I have just seen it on YouTube... I guess it’s not about their style, it’s about their achievements.

5. Metallica – The Fray

Metallica was formed in the 70’s (if not, in the 80’s) they play metal. During their 30-year-long carreer they got almost 100 awards, nominations they achieved a lot of things and I respect them for this. Their songs are really good, I enjoy listening to them. I don’t know a lot about this band but I never hated them, I was always like... „Metallica? Cool!” Let’s see what The Fray have...
The Fray was formed in 2002. Their first, debut album was out in 2005. The video that was about how much The Fray suck ass comparing to Metallica was uploaded (and probably made) in 2007. Sooo... the video included their achievements that were reached during two years.
HOW THE HELL COULD THEY ACHIEVE MORE DURING TWO FREAKIN’ YEARS?!
And you cannot say that they didn’t have a lot things in their hands because How to save a life and Over my head are well-known songs in all parts of the world. (I guess not all parts, but you got what i mean) Soooo... I don’t get this one...
I love Metallica and The Fray. And if anyone dares to compare them, I’ll kick that guy in the balls (or in the head if she hasn’t got any balls)

Yeah, right...

I also love That's what you get by Paramore. Happy?

TOP5 - Lyrics

Ok, I'm done for today with these TOP5's and tests, I just enjoy writing them ^-^ Soooo... here are my TOP5 list about those lyrics that were written by men who cannot be ordered to my "fave artists" list.

1. Disciple - Things left unsaid
  - It was a Supernatural fanvid where I first heard this song. It was about Dean's death and it totally got me. In that time I knew in English but not that well. And the thing I liked in this song was that I could here the lyrics, I could understand it. It can mean two things: I FUCKING ROCK IN ENGLISH (that's not so possible) or this song is freakin' simple. My money is on the second. Sooo it can be bad, because I can write simple lyrics, but with the melody, I was totally there with Sam, watching Dean and... that's cool

2. The All-American Rejects - My Paper Heart
  - I LOVE IT WITH ALL PASSION. I know the song "Gives you hell" or something and this one. I think, that the melody is totally right, fits to the lyrics, and it's very catching. I cannot describe it, check the lyrics, it's about the fight between the guy and the girl, a usual punk-rock-pop stuff, I wouldn't listen to it by myself, I was pushed to check it, and I'm glad I did.

3. Rihanna - Unfaithful
  - You can tell that I hate Rihanna. GOSH!! How much I do... Very... I think her voice is like a mouse's voice, her face is getting uglier with every haircut she got (she's not even girlish with this hair she has now), I think her songs are the same, they're about the same suffering she has with her love or about parties, but this one has a story, it's like a poem that you cannot take in your hands but if you do, it flows out of your fingers...
And I don't like the piano in it.

4. Bruce Springsteen - Radio Nowhere
  - I love the boss. But I know 5 songs from him on top? And this one is really amazing. I don't know what its title mean, I don't get the meaning of it, but "Is there anybody alive out there?" So you see? These simple things can amaze me! No wonder why I like singers with nice soul. They can express the most difficult things with one simple sentence. That's what I need.

5. Torres Dani - Good Night, Joe
  - He's a Hungarian singer. Til this moment, I thought: His pronouncation is good. But now: Maaan, what's this crap? I mean, the way he pronounce words.
And you can ask: HE'S NOT YOUR FAVE SINGER?? I mean, he was discovered in a Hungarian talent show, he was the forth aand he made two album since then, I love his songs, but my fanatism faded for now, and still, this song still takes me to heaven.

This was me for today. Be good, eat all of the sorrel, so I don't have to...

TOP5 Sexy, unknown men - by Tia

That's me. I mean, Tia, not the 5 sexy men. :S :D
So. Here are these sexy guys, we're talking about all the time. Ed Sloan, Brent Smith, and you know, who I listed before. BUT! I know all of their songs, I love them with every part of my heart and started to think: What about those I don't know that much, only love a few songs of them, but melt from them?
  I'll tell you... :D

1. Bono - U2
  - Look at him. Look at his face... Look at "Get on your boots' music video. Naked upper-body... *-* Holy crap! And it's not (only) about his body (though you want it soo baaaad, don't deny!!!) but it's his voice. There's this "new" song, called Magnificent (probably spelt wrong) it's like, scares the living shit out of me, it made me sad for a long period of time but I started to being addicted to it and it's like only to hear his voice makes me feel like floating on golden-margined cloud... *-*
  Ok. I'm done.

2. James Morrison
  - DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!! I knew him before I could've figured out that "Please don't stop the rain" is written by Ryan Tedder, so you can't say I'm a... music bitch. :D
James Morrison has a very special voice, I "bought" (ok, downloaded) his second album, I listened to it, I said: Nice, very nice." I made a fanvid using one of his songs (You make it real) I'm totally obsessed to his music videos (Please don't stop the rain and You make it real) but that's all. He's very talented, his duet with Nelly Furtado is amazing aaaand this is where the story ends.
And it's like I cannot take my eyes off of him if he's in the TV. OMG!!! HE'S IN THE TV!!! WE HAVE TO GET HIM OUT OF THERE!!!!
Too much time spent awake in the night, sorry.

3. Caleb Followill - Kings of Leon
  - Maaaan, those eyes. It's like a drog addict's eyes :D But still very good to look at them. And in Sex on fire's music video... *-* Notion is still good but I didn't like the video, it's like going towards the crowd, almost being knocked over basically by EVERYONE! I don't like that. But Caleb is still a hottie.

4. Chris Martin - Coldplay
  - Chris Martin is not sexy. I figured that out. But I wouldn't kick him out of my b... I mean... my house :D And he's a crazy, crazy man and if I knew him, I would have never give a mike to him. And not because of his voice, because he should sit in an asylum or Idontknowhat. :D But he's stilly a very good-looking guy and I love him very much. ^-^

5. Joel Madden - Good Charlotte
  - Sorry, Joel, you're the centre of my heart but you know, these guys up here have grown on you, so you're just the fifth. I guess it's a very big break in your life. x) Mainly because you probably don't know about me, existing. Sooo... Joel's voice is a voice that I couldn't really listen to more than one and a half hour... :S But him, in The River, is very addictive, there was a time when I couldn't stop watching that video. And that song is also very good, it means something you cannot grab with your hands but try to catch with the mind.

  Awsumness, right?

TOP5 Today's stars

You know, you cannot say that I love the common singers and bands in Hungary. I mean, it's okay, in America, everyone knows (I'm in over my head) The Fray, OneRepublic, Snow Patrol and whoever, but in Hungary, it's just simply a big slug of crap what Hungarians are listening to. Commonly. You know what I mean.
But sometimes I have to admit that it's not that bad, so here are a list of those 5 singers/bands I don't like as a rep of the style but I admit her/his/their talent.

1. Demi Lovato
  - Actually, it's because of her song called "La La Land". She's got an amazing song and this style really fits to her so if she uses her gift smartly, she'll go to places... more than now. Sooo.. Go, Demi! :)

2. Jordin Sparks
  - Don't think it's because of her song called "Battlefield" that was written by Ryan Tedder, because it's not!!! Er... Well, okay... Why else??? :D I don't like that girl. Her smile is scary, and I don't think that she's a good looking woman but her voice is great and if it's about that R&B-pop stuff she's doing than okay. I'll accept my FATE!!! Oh, sorry... Gone too far in thinking...

3. Beyoncé
  - You noticed that here are only women so far? Wow. Well... Let's talk about Beyoncé.. :D one of my friends said that I'd be totally bored on a Beyoncé concert. I didn't go to her show in Hungary to check it because I know it by myself. I would. I don't like her style, I don't like her voice (though "If I were a boy" and "Halo" (last was written also by Ryan Tedder :D) are good songs, I like them) but I just cannot deny the fact that she's the freaking queen of popular music!!

4. Ne-Yo
  - He's only involved because I wanted to mention at least ONE man. Soooo... His voice, well... let's say that in this case it wouldn't be that stupid to announce: I could sing his songs pretty well. Sorry, guys, that's the truth. His voice is not powerful, his face if very forgettable (for me) and he sings like a gay. Really sorry, please, don't kill me. Buuuuut! He's playing this R&B thing. And he's doing it well. Everything is in its right place, he sings about things that's in usual R&B songs, he's good at live performing, and his name is also very funny (not the stage name, the real one. It's Shaffer Chimere Smith, actually :D:D:D:D)

5. Paramore
  - It's the only band in the list aaaaand okay, I admit, there are THREE SONGS I LIKE FROM THEM!!! Misery Business, Crush Crush Crush and Fences. Sometimes Decode, but that's just started to annoy the living shit out of me. So Decode is out of them. The thing that bothers me the most is that her voice is very similar to Lacey Mosley's voice (the lead singer of Flyleaf) and eventhough Paramore's style is a bit more like punk rock, I just cannot forget the basic Flyleaf-kinda alternative-rock sound :(
This is why I cannot listen to Paramore for more than a few moments. :S
BUT! Who could deny that Hayley Williams is a bad singer? No one! Her voice is better than these whoevers, flowing out of your TV sooo, I got my hat lifted for Miss Williams (if it's not an expression in English, I tell you: lifting the hat for someone means to respect someone for something she/he achieved or got.)

Have a nice day, I'm done with listing for today :D

Top5 Cute singers

Oh, maaan. It's like, I cannot stop thinking about this list and I'm already sorry for those who's not involved :D Ok, I could start with Chad Kroeger from Nickelback, Ian Watkins from LostProphets Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, but you know, what? They're not cute! They're hot and sexy!! But here are five cuties I like the MOST!!! of any of the cute singers of the world.
As always, I watched the actuallity of each singers, you know, who is the newbie, who's the oldest fave and so on :) According to this, my Top5 list from the cutest singers is the next:

1. Ryan Tedder - OneRepublic
  - I know you couldn't even tell it!! :D it's like I'm slobbering about him in the 24 hours of the day. :D He's the man who cannot be described as "handsome" or "hot" or "sexy" (though his muscles while playing on the piano, well... gooosh!!!) but as "cute" and "sweet" and his smile... makes me melt. And not every singer have such a great voice. And he's not even afraid of using high notes in his songs, though he cannot sing them clearly always.

2. Isaac Slade - The Fray
  - Need explanation? Well, look at my fansite (ungodlyhour.gportal.hu) and tell if I'm wrong :D

3. Jason Wade - Lifehouse
  - Take a look at agony.. Now, take a look at Jason's smile. Agony's gone. And it's fucking good to have Jason here!!!! :D

4. Gary Lightbody - Snow Patrol
  - I won't explain this.. His eyes and his voice is just... undescribable... *-* And I just cannot wait the concert!!! OMGOMOMGOMGOMGOMG (it's Oh, my Gary, not Oh, my gosh)

5. Daniel Layus - Augustana
  - Ok, I guess he has the wildest voice of each of these singers, listed in this post. But it's not why I love him. It's quite acceptable after a few months that he almost never smiles but the way he sings, it's not awesome it's like... from another world... and it IS CUTE!!!

TOP5 Crazy drummers

I have nothing to do (only to feel the pain in my back.. gahh, Tia's never sitting on a bus again -.-") so I made a TOP5 list about those crazy drummers I know and I love. :)

1. Tré Cool - Green Day
  - He's not my favourite drummer ever, but he's the craziest from my list so he got the first place :) Look at the music of "Know your enemy" from Green Day. He's awesome. :)

2. Benji Wysocki - The Fray
  - There was a little fight between him and the third one buuuut in the end, Benji is the second one because his facial expressions cannot be described and copied by anyone. If he enjoys the song you can say it only by looking at him in the eye. :)

3. Eddie Fisher - OneRepublic
  - Well, yeah... Look at "Say (All I need) by OneRepublic, look it at the end... *-* He almost looks like someone who's afraid of drums :D But if you watch any of their live performances, he's just... awesome. *-* A genius and I LOVE HIM!!!

4. Shannon Leto - 30 Seconds to Mars
  - I don't think this one needs explanation. He's a crazy, crazy man and he only got the forth place because his presence is not so intensive like the previous ones'. I hope you got that. I love you, Shannon *-*

5. Daniel Adair - Nickelback
  - On the new album, he created something that's totally different from the prev albums and as I was thinking about the new look and sound of Nickelback, one thing crossed my mind: It's because of the drummer, actually. It's okay, that the prev drummer was replaced in the early 2005 but there was a few album released since then but the new album is also different from them!! It must be that new equipment they got. Hmmm... *-* :D

The next top5 list will be about the.. cutest SINGERS EVER!!! :D

Aawwww

My The Fray CD/DVD pack has finally arrived from the USA. They sent it three times - without DVD. Horrible. I mean it's horrible that they sent it with no DVD, the DVD itself is really nice. I would kiss Rod Blackhurst's footprints, really :D

And I finished my novel. It needs a lot of correction but I finished it and... and I figured out that The Fray makes me a better writer. And this is a big thing - since I'm not a writer.
